SMF does not send a proper response to PDU Session Establishment when IP pool is full

Description

When the SMF does not have any IPs left in the IP pool for a DNN, it does not indicate an error message towards AMF. Instead, it sends a 408 HTTP code and the AMF does not send an attach reject to the UE.

Test Steps

  • Make the IP pool small (2 IP addresses)
  • Attach 3 UEs
  • Third UE will not get any response
